PDMU Sweeps INVICTUS-2018 (DTU Technical Fest)

The students of Faculty of Engineering & Technology at PDM University have been exhibiting their multiple talents across academic and extra academic activities since last more than 2 decades. To showcase their talent and skills they participate in prestigious technical fests organized by premier technical Institutions and depict their creative might to compete with their counterparts. The University supports these students through various initiatives and sharpens their hidden talents to shape them to technical fighters. Some of such initiatives are to provide free technical workshops, presentations on nature and types of technical activities considered in fests and equipping them with relevant latest technology.

Like every years, this time also our students participated in DTU Tech Fest, INVICTUS-2018 that sprawled across three days (12-14 Feb 2018) where a total of 55 teams including IITs, NITs, Central Universities, IPU, NSIT, DTU etc. took part in the events ranging from Robotics, Coding, Quizzes and Chess etc. The PDM Team consisting of 12 mighty students participated in these activities. After various rounds, 10 teams were selected and amazingly 5 were from PDM University. Our students grabbed most of the prizes in the fest which was a surprise to others. The final medal tally is shown below:

The above extraordinary performance of our students was not a mere coincidence but the result of their talent and hard work.
