Faculty of Nursing Celebrates World Health Day 2021
“Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open. To ensure good health: eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life.”
The theme of this year’s World Health Day is “building a fairer, healthier world”. On the occasion of ”World Health Day”, Faculty of Nursing, PDM University organized a Health Camp for Community in Anganwari of Sarai Aurangabad on Friday 9th April’21. Nursing Students of 2nd Year and 3rd Year were participated in the Health camp. They have organized a skit for the community, focuses on Prevention from Covid and encourage the public for Covid vaccination.
Health Education were given by the Nursing Students on following topics :
Balanced diet, Personal hygiene, Menstrual hygiene, Prevention from accidents, care in fever, Care of diabetic foot,, Prevention from Malaria, Prevention from Dengue fever,, Antenatal diet, Postnatal care, Diet in Anemia, Importance of Breast feeding, Weaning, Immunization Schedule, Health Schemes, Road Safety, Tetanus, Tuberculosis, Diet in Tuberculosis, Importance of newborn care.
Community people share their views related to Covid Vaccine and then programme was concluded by the vote of thanks by the Nursing Students.
