The International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is a United Nations International Day against drug abuse and the illegal drug trade. It is observed annually on 26th June, since 1989. The online Competition was organized with the aim of providing a best platform to the students to showcase their talent during this pandemic situation due to covid-19, following the rules of government.

All departments of PDM University came forward and showed active participation in the event. There were significant number of participants from different departments representing their Faculty in this Group Discussion.

The event started with a brief introduction delivered by Dr. Mitushi Gupta, Head of Sociology Department. The Competition was a much-anticipated discussion as it was organized with a view to boost up the mind of students and make them learn that efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction.
