World Pharmacist Day 2015 Celebrations
PDM College of Pharmacy on 25th September 2015 organized a two hour programme on the Occasion of World Pharmacists Day. Programme was coordinated by Pharma Buds with full enthusiasm and joy which was attended by students from both B.Pharma and M. Pharma
The event was rolled on by inaugural speech by Jai accompanied by Niloy highlighting the importance of a pharmacist’s role in the society.
This was followed by welcoming the guests to take their seat followed by lightning of the holy lamp by the guests and Principal herself.
Lightning of lamp was followed up by the Maa Saraswati Vandana.
Chief Guest and Guest of Honour were welcomed with respect, floraly to thanks them for taking out time for attending the event. Momento of respect was given to the guests in their honour.
Programme was further led forward by welcome speech by Principal Ma’m, for the guests and the gathering who attended the programme with full joy, enthusiasm along with maintaining the clam and compositive environment during the event.
Principal Madam’s speech highlighted the importance of celebration of World Pharmacist’s Day marking the day as tribute to fellow pharmacists across India and the world.
Next to Principal ma’m speech Guest of Honour Mr. Gajendra Singh shared his valuable thoughts regarding the role of a pharmacist as THE PARTNER IN HEALTH.
Chief guest Mr .A.K. Nasa also shared his valuable thoughts regarding role of a pharmacist along with the role of a teacher in moulding the student’s personality plus his motivating struggle in his career to be a self made person.
Principal Madam conveyed her thanks & regards to Mr. A.K. Nasa for their contribution in her career as well.
Samridhi Madan, Student of PDMCOP threw some light on Pharmabuds community at PDM College of Pharmacy followed unveiling the special edition of PharmaBuds bulletin by respected guests and Principal Ma’am which was applauded by all.
A short film exclusively crafted by the college students showing the pharmacist as a health partner and a consultant was broadcasted and praised by the audience as well as guests of the evening.
Event Successfully ended up with a Close Up speech and Providing Refreshments amongst poster competition participants
