World Pharmacists Day 2022
Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, PDM University organized “World Pharmacists Day” On 28 September, 2022 at G4 hall in PDMU campus from 12:30PM onwards on the theme of Pharmacy United in action for a healthier world. Prof. (Dr.) Hema Chaudhary, Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences commenced the session with a warm welcome of all pharmacy students and faculty members. She expressed her valuable views on this occasion. The theme acknowledges the pivotal role of pharmacists in providing essential health care services for everyone, both at community and hospital levels. She told how the pharmacists contributed to fight against Covid-19, how everyone was made aware that how this epidemic can be saved. Other faculty members Prof. (Dr.) Surender Kumar Sharma, Ms. Sonam also expressed their views on this occasion.
A poster making competition was also held based on the theme of Pharmacy United in action for a healthier world. The first position secured by Saurav 7th Sem and second position secured by Ruchika 7th Sem. Students also perform a skit on the topic “Ask your Pharmacist not Google”. The session was also a memorable moment for the students who qualified the exam GPAT 2022. GPAT is a National level test conducted by National Test Agency (NTA). Six students of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, PDMU have qualified the annually conducted GPAT exam 2022.The session end with Pharmacist Oath, in which all students and faculty members took the oath of their profession.
